Let her be.
March 31, 2009
Walk over mountains
Stride through pouring rain
Smile up
Let the sun rays splash down
Maybe you’ll be back some day.
Just when you think you have no-one.
The sun comes up
And you’re not alone any more.
The city, she loves you.
Indeed she does, Quasisensible.
I responded to the original blog that was the reason I subsequently emailed you on SG about, tell you that I wished you read it, or at least followed me on twitter cause I had some things to tell you.
Then I read this, and had to comment on it. I live in Colorado, with mountains, and am soon flying to NYC for vacation. I am a city boy at heart, need the energy, and once again your written something that I relate too. I have seen LA, and NY first thing in the morning, when the sun is coming up, and no one is around, and your right, above all else, she was always there. I find it ironic that you wrote “Maybe you’ll be back some day” when I am returning to what may be a future home, its interesting that you have twice now written something that touched me, well played…lol
I’m Teneighteen on twitter, would love to converse with you on there..
Cheers,
Jeremy
